Me and Project Attention Span

thoughts?
So, I know I probably said at one point "Okay, so _this_ will be the blog I _don't_ abandon."
I know I said this because I always say it.

When I start something, I get REALLY excited about it, generally obsessed. I learn everything about the subject, I won't shut up about it for days, and I spend all my free time doing it.
And then about a week or maybe two later, I forget about it.

"Sure," you say, "this is normal, it happens to everyone."
No, not really. Normal is taking up knitting and then forgetting about it after a while.
Not normal is taking up tarot reading, knitting, crocheting, playing the cello, playing the electric bass, countless blogs, five career path ideas, Gaelic, a zombie guide, and at least a hundred stories and then forgetting about them after a while. Where a while is about a week.

It can't be normal to not focus on one thing for any amount of time.
Even right now, I am reading The Barren Twelve, American Gods, The Nine Princes of Amber, Does God Play Dice?, Telling Lies, For the Thrill of It, and the Dead Zone. Probably more I didn't think of. Because I do the same thing with books. A micro-example of the macro-problem.

Basically, what I'm saying is, I may or may not ever update this particular blog ever again.

I have new glasses.

And a headache!
They're really pretty and stuff but I probably will lack depth perception and shet for a while.
Annnddd.
I have this thing I'm going to at seven and it'll be rad.
Now I'm going to go wash my face and then probably watch Nightmare Before Christmas or read or listen to my Fall Out Boy mix (w/ special guest Tim McIlrath [and crew]) or something until it is 6:30.
:)
(how tf am i this hyper?)

P.S. Best excuse I've heard in like ever: "I didn't do it because I don't feel like thinking of an excuse." or something like that.
